Volunteer Opportunities

Do you enjoy working in the outdoors? Are you interested in restoring the marine environment? Then why not join the fun and be a SeaChange volunteer? There are lots of opportunities to volunteer with SeaChange as:

No experience necessary! Here are some of the ongoing volunteer opportunities:

  • BC Estuaries Project
  • Help build displays for the Tod Inlet Nature Float
  • Pumpty Dumpty pump out sewage service in Saanich Inlet, weekends
  • Living Watersheds programs

$2,500 Helps to train teachers to maintain seaquaria in their schools
$1,000 Funds an outdoor environmental education program for 375 children
$500 Helps to purchase native plants for restoration of Gowlland Tod Provincial Park
$100 Helps with displays in the Tod Inlet Nature Float
$25 Pays for one square metre of transplanted eelgrass
